A couple of months ago your editor (me) finished reading a very interesting and enjoyable manuscript that will be coming out this October as a book. It is the next and long awaited Irene Adler mystery, Chapel Noir by Carole Nelson Douglas [also writes Midnight Louie mysteries]. Many of my customers know of my studies and readings on the topics of Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper. Also by the very nature of Centuries & Sleuths Bookstore's selection of books, history, mystery, and biography, they know of my fondness for these areas. Chapel Noir satisfies my desires, no, my demands in all these genres. The Sherlockian, the Ripperlogist, the lover of all things Victorian, and those who like their mysteries with an early feminist bent will greatly appreciate this adventure.

Just a hint, even Dracula enthusiasts will find something to look forward to in the sequel, Castle Rouge. --But that's enough! The end of Chapel Noir is not a denouement, but a commencement!
