Sisters in Crime Meeting: The Cook County Justice System Talk Guest Speaker: William Wolf, Cook County Criminal Defense Lawyer                                           Mr. Wolf served as co-counsel on the defense team representing accused serial killer Paul Runge.  He is currently lead counsel for Bryant Brewer, accused of the shooting of a Chicago Police Officer.  Most notably, Mr. Wolf served as local counsel – with the National Innocence Project – representing Jerry Miller, the nation’s 200th DNA exoneree.  In addition, he has served for many years on the faculty on the Illinois Public Defender Association’s annual trial skills seminar, which is co-sponsored by the Office of the State Appellate Defender and the Cook County Public Defender’s Office.  Mr. Wolf is the current President of the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  IACDL is the state criminal defense bar association, representing defense attorneys throughout the state of Illinois.
