An Act of Love for All is about a group of highly different individuals & how they are drawn together to be determining factors in the longest & greatest war in history. As mankind struggles with their daily lives, they remain unaware of the war being fought since before time itself on earth -- the war between heaven & hell. The devil & his minions accumulate the souls of mankind to openly defy God as St. Michael & Heaven's Angels battle the darkness so man can choose his own fate....

The author Chuck Calderon was born in Cali Colombia. He migrated to Chicago at the age of four to live with his mother and sister. His formal education took place in Chicago from grammar school to high school and finally college. He has worked as a cab driver, banker, salesman and an entrepreneur. He began writing poetry and prose while in high school and admits he was influenced by the writngs of Ernest Hemingway, his growing up in Chicago and his Catholic heritage.

Sisters in Crime Meeting: The Cook County Justice System Talk

Guest Speaker: William Wolf, Cook County Criminal Defense Lawyer                                        

 
Mr. Wolf served as co-counsel on the defense team representing accused
serial killer Paul Runge.  He is
currently lead counsel for Bryant Brewer, accused of the shooting of a Chicago
Police Officer.  Most notably, Mr.
Wolf served as local counsel – with the National Innocence Project –
representing Jerry Miller, the nation’s 200th
DNA exoneree. 
In addition, he has served for many years on the faculty on the Illinois
Public Defender Association’s annual trial skills seminar, which is co-sponsored
by the Office of the State Appellate Defender and the Cook County Public
Defender’s Office. 

Mr. Wolf is the current President of the Illinois Association of Criminal
Defense Lawyers.  IACDL is the state
criminal defense bar association, representing defense attorneys throughout the
state of Illinois.
